Unearthed in 1959 from a Tang tomb at Zhongbo Village, western suburb of Xi'an, Shaanxi Province. Between the camel's humps was laid an elliptical mat. A platform with a blanket on it was placed on the mat. Seven musicians carring sheng, flute, pi ba, kong hou, clapper etc. sit on the blanket, with a singer standing in the middle of them. |
