Bailong Lake Scenic Area

With an area of 100 square kilometers, Bailong Lake Scenic Area is seated between Qingchuan County and Central District of Guangyuan City.

It is specifically located at the low-hill-valley area where Longmen and Motian Ranges meet, and integrates natural landscape such as lakes, islands, mountains, forests, valleys, and water-eroded caves, and countless places of cultural interest as well as historic sites. Moreover, it has green, steep and imposing mountains, and winding lake strandlines. Tourists can always see the ever-changing lakes, large or small, and they are all variably connected with each other. With Yangping Byland as its center, the lake area is divided into five characteristic scenic parts. As far as the central part is concerned, it occupies an area of 14 square kilometers and has a vast expanse of clear water, encompassed by verdant hills. Furthermore, the waters and the surrounding hills set off each other and make a pleasing spectacular scene.
